Tracking

Shipments with a value of goods over 10 Euro will be sent with tracking. Shipments with a value of less than 10 Euro will be sent as letter mail without tracking. As a non-German customer, you can usually use these tracking numbers for the tracking of your national postal provider, such as USPS in the USA, or Royalmail in the UK. 

Delivery time + Shipping time

The delivery time is the time it takes to get the order ready to ship and to the post office. Actual delivery times are shown in the product description. Delivery times may vary depending on season and demand and are updated daily. Delivery time starts from the day of payment. 

Shipping time is the time it takes for the shipping service provider ( Post Office / DHL, Express Service Provider) to bring the package to your doorstep or PO Box address after acceptance. 

In normal operation, the following shipping times apply:

Small shipments, such as ribbons, are sent in flat cardboard boxes as premium mail items.
Germany: 1-2 working days
Europe: 2-4 working days
Outside Europe / Overseas: 4-6 working days

We offer worldwide express shipping
including extra-fast processing even on weekends:
Australia and New Zealand: 2-3 days
All other goals: 1-2 days

Larger deliveries are sent as DHL packages.
Germany: 1-2 working days
Europe: 3-5 working days
Outside Europe / Overseas: 5-7 working days

Please note that there may be general delays over which we have no control. These can be customs clearances, pandemics, natural disasters, strikes and other adverse circumstances. 

If the order contains one or more individualized items, or if it is a bulk order of more than 10 meters of ribbons, for example, the delivery time may increase by 1 additional week or more. 

Multiple items ordered at the same time will be delivered in a joint shipment; the delivery time of the item with the longest delivery time will apply to the joint shipment.
If there is a later delivery, we will inform you immediately.

Returns

You have a 14-day right of return on finished products in our store.

However, we will not take back or refund any kind of:

  • yard goods
  • Custom-made products
  • Personalized orders

This includes all products from the categories:

  • Satin ribbon
  • Velvet ribbon
  • Wired satin ribbon
  • Satin belt ribbon
  • Velvet bows

Excluded and returnable are whole rolls of satin or velvet ribbon.

In the product descriptions available to you prior to purchase, the exclusion of yard goods from exchange is pointed out several times. If you return products without being asked to do so, neither the purchase price nor the shipping costs will be refunded.

For the presentation of the products in the online store, photos of the tapes are taken professionally in a photo studio under neutral lighting conditions. However, as every screen displays the colors slightly differently, you were offered the option of receiving color samples before purchasing. If you have waived the sample shipment, Seegang Berlin is not liable for the fact that the tone may not correspond exactly to your expectations.

In the rare case that you have accidentally received the wrong product, please let us know. In this case, a refund is of course possible.

The return of products must be arranged and carried out by you.

  • Inform us of your return request within 5 days of receipt of the goods by e-mail to info[at]seegang.berlin.
  • Pack the goods carefully in the original packaging, or in the same quality, to avoid damage on the way back. Damaged goods will not be refunded.
  • Download the withdrawal form and fill it out. Place the completed and signed withdrawal form in the package. This will enable us to assign the order to you.
  • Please return the goods within 14 days. The first day of the period is the day on which you received the product and the last day is the day on which you handed in the package with the receipt at the post office.

The shipping costs that you paid when placing the order will be refunded together with the purchase price if all the criteria mentioned here have been met. However, you bear the costs of the return shipment. A pre-franked returns label is not enclosed with our shipments.
